I'm reaching out today because I wanted to address some of the questions we've been receiving about our current inventory. Trust me, I know how frustrating it can be to see the words "out of stock" over and over again on something you really need. As a brand, this isn't who we are. I started Haute Hijab because I believed that Muslim women deserve better. For the past 10+ years, we've been working tirelessly to provide the best possible experience for our customers, but unfortunately, the issues we've been facing lately are beyond our control.
As you may know, supply chains around the world have been severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, creating a number of challenges for retailers across virtually every industry. We have felt this impact most deeply with regards to our
Bamboo Woven hijabs, as we source our sustainably-processed bamboo woven fabric from our partner in India. Between an ongoing rise in COVID cases, on and off lockdowns, and overwhelmed freight forwarders, production has effectively been put on pause. Not only that, India has also been suffering from extreme humidity caused by monsoon season, which negatively impacts the dyeing process of the fabric.
Our product team is hustling harder than ever and doing the best they can in the face of these challenges — but one thing we will NOT do is compromise on quality, even if it means waiting a little longer to restock. So, if you see something that you really want is out of stock, know that it's coming, inshallah!
All that said, we have
so much to be grateful for! We recently launched our new
Woven Prints collection, and we still haven't missed a single
Chiffon Prints drop. And, we have another super exciting launch coming up this Tuesday — so keep your eyes peeled for that!!
