What Excites You Most About Joining BB? I'm most excited to become a part of the history of this amazing brand. Brooks Brothers has had an incredible past and for sure an amazing future and we're all just passing through. What's Your Vision For Brooks Brothers Going Forward? My vision for Brooks Brothers is three-fold. First I'm focused on building up our sportswear assortment so we can attract new customers and become more of complete lifestyle brand. Second, the design team is working hard to align our men's and women's offerings a little better- we like to say our guy and our girl don't necessarily need to be a couple, but they should look like they're going to the same party. And finally, and most importantly, I want to polish up or bring back to life the true Icons of our brands - those things that the customer always expects to find in Brooks Brothers.

Where Did You Find Your Inspiration For The New Collection? Our main inspiration this fall came from the early photo studies of horses in motion by Eadweard Muybridge. For the first time, the poetry and rhythm of movement was frozen. They're very graphic and two-dimentional but also kinetic - you feel the rush of movement in these photos.

You've Lived In NYC Since Graduating College. What Keeps You In Love With The City? It's impossible to be bored in this city, it's constantly evolving and morphing into a new city before your eyes. It never lets you down. Also true New Yorkers feel like we're all part of this manic, loving, infuriating, diverse family in a way - our differences are our strength and our appeal
Ok - Last One - What Makes The Perfect Oxford Shirt? The perfect oxford shirt has a few necessary details to make it perfect. It needs to be made of sturdy 100% cotton oxford cloth. It must be in one of the traditional colors: white, blue, pink or yellow. It must have the six-pleat cuff and box pleat in the back giving it an easy fit. And it absolutely must have that precise Brooks Brothers roll to the collar. A lot of things need to be working seamlessly to get this shirt just right.
