Only 100 days after the fall of the Berlin Wall, Keith Haring himself died from AIDS in his Manhattan home at the age of 31. A portion of the proceeds from this collection are going to LGBTQ+ causes through the Keith Haring Foundation, which was established by the artist in 1989 and provides grants to children in need and those affected by HIV/ AIDS.
