Decades later, Andre Tchelistcheff became winemaker and put Buena Vista on the map as one of California’s best wineries! In 2011, Jean-Charles purchased the estate—a registered California Historic Landmark—and began restoring the original stone structure and cellars. The immaculate renovation brought the winery back to its former glory while paving a new path for the future of Buena Vista wines. JCB, as you may know, is French, and brings his know-how of French sparkling wine to the estate. Rich, sensuous bubbles and bright elegant fruit make this wine a true standout!
And then there’s DAOU, known as THE luxury estate in all of Paso Robles! Brothers Georges and Daniel had a cosmopolitan childhood in Lebanon and France, but it was California that captured their hearts. After selling their successful technology company, they took a risk with their new venture: wine. Paso Robles, with its casual elegance, was the perfect opportunity to set up shop. Today, the winery is one of the most revered in all the region. This rosé is made from Grenache from select parcels in the Adelaida District. Berry fruits jump out of the glass and layers of complexity reveal themselves with every sip!
