Daughter Laura Catena (who is also an ER doctor in San Francisco!) continues to innovate with the founding of the Catena Institute of Wine. The educational center partners with schools like UC Davis to conduct research into soils, clones, terroir — whatever goes into making great wine!
The Adrianna Vineyard is a crazy-diverse site with numerous soils and microclimates and is the flagship vineyard of the Catena estate.
