Kapital has been doing their thing since 2002 (under the Kapital name, at least), and is still held in high regard among the Japanese heritage scene. Aptly named after their home—denim capital of the world, Kojima, Japan—Kapital produces meticulous reproductions of Americana denim, utilizing patchwork, Sashiko stitching and traditional Boro techniques.
