Luc Morlet, a fifth-generation vintner from Champagne, initially came to the U.S. for work but moved permanently after finding his soul mate in life and wine — his now-wife Jodie. He became Director of Enology at Newton Vineyards, followed by a key position at Peter Michael Winery.
After stints at these prestigious estates, the two branched off and started their own label, focusing on elegant, super-small production wines.
Sourcing from the famous Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard, the two put their focus on Cabernet Franc. Aiming for a rich yet structured style, this Cabernet Franc shows its lineage as the parent of Cabernet Sauvignon, with its dark fruit and spice; however, it still maintains a character all its own!
