To mark Juneteenth, Aesop’s Anti-Racism Committee has curated a collection of music inspired by black joy.
The spirited selection celebrates a tapestry of talent from Aretha Franklin to SZA. In the Committee’s own words: ‘We present A Playlist for Black Joy. Like a symbiotic symphonic string woven through everything connecting us to the black story, the black voice, black liberation, black love, and black joy.’
Listen to the playlist at a reasonable yet suitably generous volume on
Apple Music or
Spotify.
