“The Memphis Group is a big influence on my work—they were a postmodern design collective based in Milan, my hometown, in the ’80s. I love how they were not scared of color or weird shapes.”

“Before the pandemic, I used to travel a lot and my trips to Eastern Asia continue to influence me. I appreciate the importance they place on presentation—even for the simplest things. But it’s also the colors, the neon lights, and this constant juxtaposition between cityscape and technology that subconsciously lingers in my mind.”
