To the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Community, We stand with you, and we support you. There's no denying the rise in Asian hate crimes and discrimination since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. We are saddened and outraged - and we are doing something about it - For all of us at Bath and Body Works, the work starts with standing up for our AAPI friends, families and communities. We're working to live up to our commitments and continuing to listen, learn and take action on our journey to become anti-racist. - As part of those commitments, we've - hosted conversation circles for associates follwoing the recent tragic events to support our associates and identify ways to support AAPI communities - Donated $50,000 to the Asian Americans Advancing Justice | AAJC organization, whose mission is to fight for civil rights ans empower Asian Americans to create a more just America for all. - Established ALL IN (Asian Learning, Leadership and Innovation network), a resource group led by our AAPI associates and their allies - just in time to kick off AAPI Heritage Month. Especially in times like these, we must wrap our arms around and speak up for those who feel threatened or marginalized so that we can get to a place where no one has to be afraid of simply existing.
