Gabrielle Chanel’s audacious vision and daring spirit
reinvented the world of beauty at the beginning of the
20th century. Today, the products she created are as
timeless and coveted as ever.
In 1921, Mademoiselle introduced a fragrance unlike
any other. Unprecedented in its use of aldehydes, N°5
is an abstract, mysterious composition and the
ultimate symbol of femininity.
More than a colour, red represented life, passion and
courage for Mademoiselle. From the debut of her first
lipstick in 1924, to the launch of ROUGE ALLURE in
2006, CHANEL red has remained synonymous with style.
Believing that luxury begins with perfect skin,
Mademoiselle developed a collection of essential
skincare in 1927 that included HUILE DE JASMIN, a
delicate face oil with a distinctive floral scent.
